I got the idea to create this paintign after hearing a song. because of the gold paint in the background it looks similar to a religious icon.

I wanted to see how far I've come as an artist. So put away my art supplies and made a drawing with crayons on construction paper. I cheated a little. I used a color pencil for the outline of the drawing. they were crayola color pencil though.
