Over the years I've noticed certain patterns or themes in my work. I really don't know why somethings appeal to me sometimes more than other things. I just go with what I feel.
I have found that my theme is sort of cliche, but I don't mind it. Often times I like to paint real life situations. Things that people can relate to and that put you right in the scene along with the characters. I like it to come to life. Many times I paint women too. I have done a water color of me getting my hair done when I was a little girl, or more recently someone relaxing in a car.
Hello everyone,
My name is Eric T. Francis. I'm an artist who currently resides in Lousiana but I'm originally from New York. I've been an artist all my life but didn't take up painting until I went to college and I've been painting & drawing ever since. Well sort of. I have a B.A. in art from Centenary College in Louisiana and an A.A. in general studies from Southern University Shreveport. My journey through the world of art has land me here.
