The Rose
8x10
acrylic on canvas board
I learned how to paint flowers because I was trying to impress a girl. We saw some at a gallery and she asked if I do such thing. Of course my answer was yes, even though I didn't have clue. The girl didn't last but my love of flowers endures.

What I'm attempting to do with this piece is to capture a the beauty and stillness of the infinite moment that last forever in our memory. The feeling of giving love and receive love is wonderful.I hope this painting brings you a flood of incredible memories.

Faith Evans
8x10
acrylic on canvas board
what we have here is a painting of Faith Evans. Its a demonstration painting on the importance of focusing. Having a clear clean focus is getting more and more difficult in a noise world. focus can become easy when you enjoy what you do and don't allow anything to side tract you.

Mila Kunas
8x10
acrylic on canvas board
My concentration on this painting was the teeth. Everybody loves a smile. But you might notice there aren't to many paintings of them. Well the truth is they can go sour easily if you don't get enough practice. Then they become easy like everything else. Practice makes perfect.

Repose
9x12
acrylic on watercolor paper
When I closed my eyes this is what I saw. I saw this painting. As matter of fact, thats how most of my work comes to be. My job as an artists is to faithfully reproduce that which I see in my minds eye. This is how it works. I see something on the outside, then I see it inside & finally recreate it on the outside. What I wish is that this image brings you the same feeling it gave me. A feeling of peace and tranquility. Science of Painting
8x10
acrylic on canvas board
By science I mean the systematize knowledge of painting. I went to the library and couldn't find any books on subject. Now there were books on painters but none on painting. Shame on you library. Its a good thing we have resources like YouTube, but theres nothing like reading a book the old fashion way.

Meridiculous (JKPP)
8x10
acrylic on canvas board
The process of painting is pretty interesting. The more I do the more I see I fall back on some really basic principles. The problem with paint has nothing at all to do with the simple rules. The difficulty is in the doing. If you can get ourselves to do it continuously then we will get the results we've been looking for.

untitled portrait (blending)
8x10
acrylic on canvas
With this paint I demonstrate the process of blending acrylic paint. I get an awful lot of question on this subject. Truthfully its the hardest aspect of acrylic painting or just something to learn. It depends entirely on our prospective. Instead of showing a speed painting of the portrait, I expose this method by painting the sphere to right.

Audrey

acrylic on newspaper
here is another painting of Audrey Hepburn. I was running out of things to paint on then saw a basket full of junk mail. You know what they say, "nessicity is the mother of invention.
KRS 1

acrylic on canvas
This is a painting of raper/writer/lecturer/teacha KRS 1. His name is an acronym for knowledge reign supreme. He is one of my favorite rappers from back in the day and his concert is probably the best ive ever seen.
